Help from Loyal Readers?

Legal blogging remains a poor cousin to other forms of academic writing. Times are beginning to change, especially with the increased recognition of the concept of academic ‘impact’, something social scientists are becoming more and more adept at measuring.

Yet there are modest steps that online communities can take to increase the academic recognition of legal blogging. I am in the process of finalizing my tenure application, which is due on Monday, August 17. Several correspondents have usefully suggested to me that I include ‘testimonials’ from regular readers who enjoy or profit from Administrative Law Matters. The purpose would be to showcase the utility of legal blogging as a way of communicating with the legal community: academics, judges, practitioners, students and, indeed, members of the wider community.

If you are interested in contributing a short note, please write to me (paul.daly@umontreal.ca) and I will gratefully include your comments in my file.
