Other Forms of Legal Writing
One of the reasons blogging has been so light in recent months is that I have been turning to my hand to other forms of legal writing. You can see some of the fruits of my labours in the Abrametz appeal here and the factum of the British Columbia Civil Liberties Association in the Sullivan appeal will soon be available here.
The nature of legal practice is such that it is impossible to disclose all engagements. But I will keep this page updated with ongoing engagements and will signal in individual blog posts if I have a professional interest in a point being analyzed.
It has also been a busy few months at the Environmental Protection Tribunal of Canada. Some notable recent decisions:
- F. Legault v. Canada (Environment and Climate Change); R. Legault v. Canada (Environment and Climate Change), 2021 EPTC 1
- BCE Inc. v. Canada (Environment and Climate Change), 2021 EPTC 2 (this is the subject of a judicial review application in Federal Court)
- Andrade v. Canada (Environment and Climate Change), 2021 EPTC 4
Decisions of the Tribunal, which are available in English and French, can be found here.
